The first heating calls rarely land when you expect them. Demand compresses into a few weeks, and contractors who have not checked their stock end up chasing common parts.
1. Check your fast-moving parts
Igniters, blower motors and zone controls go quickly once the cold sets in. An inventory count done in September costs an hour. The same count done in November costs days on site.
2. Confirm availability before you quote
Supplier lead times stretch as the season goes on. Confirm the real availability of the models you put in a quote rather than relying on last year’s catalogue.
3. Review spec sheets and warranties
Product lines change and so do part numbers. An outdated spec sheet in a quote means a callback and a warranty you will have to argue about.
Our three warehouses in Longueuil, Terrebonne and Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville are stocked for the season. Contact your representative to confirm what is available to you.
